Beautiful Marathon

I haven't played such a harsh activity before. Even I played football for three hours when I was in Form one, by kicking the ball, dashing for ten seconds, and waiting for the ball pass, I could easily enjoy the football game.

Marathon (half marathon), perhaps, is such a beautiful game refreshing my complex and confused mind.

I am used to practising the 5-km running. If it exceeds that designated distance, probably I will be exhausted. Miraculously, I found that the environment in the marathon can boost my impetus, creating an impulse on my fatigued muscle to finish the game.

Environment is mostly created by the running crowd. Most of them are not the athletes but bear the belief to accomplish the game within their target setting. You cannot stop since everyone is running. This wave forces you to forget that you have a tired body, prompting me to finish the game on time.

One thing I want to mention is, marathon is not an indoor or constant game. Instead, you have to pass through long distance and different slopes, in return for the opportunity to appreciate the scenery during the race. Minimal risk with unusual opportunity is always in the game, beloved by the optimistic Hongkonger.

After the marathon race, I feel that everything is originally easy. It is not the boastful pride, yet the hardship accompanies the unexpected beauty.

Business Sense

Once a classmate asked me about the business sense. What is business sense? I have my own point of view.

Top priority: Use your own soft skills and charisma to let the senior know that you have business sense! Soft skills include the management and marketing techniques, which are rather intrinsic and needed to be fostered throughout a long period of time since one is young. For the charisma, needless to say, that is built-in, or created in some unusual circumstance, background and hardship.

Lower priority: The knowledge in other branches of business such as finance, decision science, since it is possible to learn throughout the career by continuing education.

Lowest priority: The technical issues and theories are rather outdated, while creativity and brainstorming issues have replaced them.

Even if I could sharply figure out this controversy, it is nearly no use pursuing the top priority in this merely short period of time.
